Facilitation

Prentice Mediation offers facilitation to organizations that need to address complex problems or define goals as a group. In such situations, a facilitator can help a group communicate more productively and work together more effectively. The facilitator does not make decisions or contribute to the substance of the discussion, but leads the group process and helps to articulate the thinking of the participants.

Conflict Resolution Workshops

Our experienced trainers offer conflict resolution workshops – a flexible and effective method for fostering learning, development, and communication in any organization. The workshops are founded on the principles of adult learning and are highly experiential and interactive. They can be tailored to specific environments and situations, and can cover any topic related to dispute resolution.

Specifically, we can teach communication skills, interest-based problem solving, strategies for engaging in difficult conversations, managing workplace conflict, stress reduction, as well as basic conflict resolution skills. We prefer using flip-charts with colored markers as we find this “low tech” approach encourages the participants to be more creative and dynamic.
